12 Summer Movies (Part 1)

As I mentioned before I did a bit of traveling this summer. I still need to make a Travel Tuesday post on all of them but I have so many pictures to sort through. Just give me time. Anyway while traveling there were lots of flights and plenty of airline movies to watch. There was time to kill so I figured why not watch as many as I could. So this is a post all about different summer movies you might have seen or might have missed out on!

OkCupid - Shat On It

Story telling is a great way to get to know someone. It's fun to get a glimpse into someone else's nature by the way they express themselves with a story. Even listening to the story that somehow gets decided upon can be funny because of what a person admits they want to leave out. Sure, some people just aren't very good at telling stories but that is their loss. It's something to work on. Today I present to you someone who could have been good at story telling, but still needs to work on properly ending the story.

May Ipsy Glam Bag Review

This is about four months late and I apologize for that. In my defense during the month of May things got hectic at work so I wasn't as focused on the blog or even what was coming in the mail. Instead I was worried about finishing everything up before getting ready for my trips out of the country. So today I present my review of my Ipsy Glam Bag from back in May.

OkCupid - Take It Back

Some people make a total u-turn in their conversations. I mean, they say one thing and then back track and try to say something else. It's different if someone changes their mind or opinion about something. That happens all the time as people learn and grow. For a guy to send the first message, be rejected, and then suddenly act like the girl is the problem is just sad. Today we have Sarah to thank for this but maybe there is some redemption for the guy.

Tinder - Tetris Grocery Shopping

I think it may have finally happened. I was seriously abut give up all hope that I would get a decent first message on Tinder. It's rare enough that I get an actual match with someone who doesn't just ghost me. I feel like I might be accidentally hyping up this first message a little too much but it's just so easy and simple. I don't get why people aren't able to say something similar to this. It's truly not that hard and the little things make a difference. I think I actually might meet up with this guy because we're having an actual conversation after his conversation starter. I'll keep you all posted of course but let's get to it.

Tinder - Poor Perfect Pen

I don't think I can justify many bios created by the guys on dating apps anymore. I truly don't understand why it is so hard to share interests or hobbies. It would seem guys write the first things that come to mind that they think make them attractive. As we've seen plenty of times before they are quite full of it and make fools of themselves. Feeling bad isn't even a reaction to it anymore, instead it's just a feeling of disappointment. I sound like a parent saying that don't I? Anyways, Sarah found our poor perfect pen today!

OkCupid - Trouble and You Know It

I know that when people see someone they make assumptions about them, especially if they've never even met them before. It happens and is to be expected. We're all human after all. We can call it our gut feeling or we can just admit we're judging based on what we see. What matters in the end though is whether or not we are willing to get to know the person no matter what our thoughts are about them. Today I had a guy make an assumption about me but it didn't go far.

Tinder - Jar Opener

It's gotten to the point that when a guy messages me on one of the dating apps he seriously just needs to say something along the lines of "Hey, what's up?" in order to get a response from me. I swear it isn't hard to do but men are unable to grasp such a concept. Instead they think they should be creative and witty, which can work in their favor if they actually are. Sadly in my experience most men are not creative and witty so instead we get dud messages like this one. This post is possible thanks to Paige for the screenshot.

#ILiveItIBlogIt

If I'm being quite honest I didn't expect a DM from John on Twitter asking me how I was and then inviting me to participate in #ILiveItIBlogIt because I've been quite terrible on my blog as of late. I mean, I was on vacation so that's a good enough reason as far as I'm concerned. It was still nice to be invited to participate so let's get to it, yeah?

8 Things to Know Before Traveling to Cambodia

I traveled to the wonderful country of Cambodia this summer and visited Angkor Wat! I spent most of my time in Siem Reap, which is actually the 6th smallest city in the country, but I can't wait to return to explore even more. There's always more of a country to see than just one city or one major tourist destination. There was a lot to learn upon arrival so I thought I'd share a few things you should know before traveling to Cambodia, just to help your trip run a bit smoother.
